The Essence Of You

I am pleased to announce that my song The Essence Of You has been released. To listen to the song please go to my Music page.

For this song, I wanted to create something with a catchy chorus that compliments the lyric. It tells the story of the singer's pure love for his partner's various traits and characteristics - the things that make her the remarkable woman that she is in his mind. A male lead sings the verses with a female backing singer joining the chorus. It also holds a special place in my heart as it was the first song I ever wrote.

The song was entirely created in the digital domain using VSTi instruments, including alto saxophone played with split embouchure, a lead guitar, bass guitar, piano, congas, a standard drum kit, hand claps and voice.
