Cupid's Arrow

The song is the first to appear here from my forthcoming album Essence, where it occupies the penultimate track position. It is a song of melancholy as the singer expresses his angst after the breakup of his first love affair. A male lead sings the verses and a female voice gives advice in the chorus.

The song was entirely created in the digital domain using VSTi instruments, including lead guitar, bass guitar, piano, saxophone, drums and percussion. The voices were created using VSTi voice software. The lyrics were influenced by a real event during my young adult period and reflect how I was feeling at the time. I have none-the-less immensely enjoyed reminiscing that period of my life and creating the song.
